MediSoft Clinical
MediSoft Clinical brings together the latest practice
management system,
MediSoft Version 19, with an advanced, certified EHR (MediSoft Clinical) at a value
that independent physician practices can appreciate, Bright Ideas for Your
Smart Practice MediSoft Clinical features Bright Note Technology™, a state-of-the-art processing engine that enables
physicians to complete an entire chart from a single note.
Once the record is complete, one touch instantly sends the
searchable data throughout the patient chart. MediSoft Clinical gives you
and your staff a new level of operational efficiency and confidence. That’s
because our EHR solution has the familiar look of a paper patient chart you
and your staff are comfortable with. You will be more focused on your
patients, not the technology behind your practice.
Minimum requirements
Listed below are the minimum system requirements needed to run MediSoft.
If your system do not meet the recommended requirements,
your performance could be affected. The program will run, but you may
encounter lag:
Workstation System Requirements (Recommended):
Intel Core 2 Duo processor or
higher, 1GB of available hard disk space, 2 GB RAM, 16+ color display,
Windows XP Professional, Windows Vista Business [will not work on Windows
Home].
Server System Requirements (Recommended): Intel
Core 2 Duo processor or
higher, 10GB of available hard disk space, 2 GB of RAM per every 5 users [up
to 4 GB for 25 users], 16+ color display, Windows 2003 Server, or higher.
Compatible with Windows 2008. Total system requirements for both systems in
a dedicated server: 8 GB RAM, RAID 5 with 2x 500 GB Hard Disks.
IMPORTANT FOR ALL SYSTEMS: WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND A VIDEO CARD WITH AT
LEAST 256 MB RAM [512 RAM RECOMMENDED]. THIS IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT AS NEW VERSIONS OF MEDISOFT
REQUIRE MORE RESOURCES. TYPICAL OF TODAYS APPLICATIONS, NOT HAVING A CARD
WITH ITS OWN MEMORY WILL RESULT IN A SLOWER SYSTEM.
The requirements are for the MediSoft software only. If you decide to run
additional services (for example, DNS or Active Directory) you will need to
add additional CPUs and/or RAM. Please consult with Microsoft website for
the minimum system requirements for each operating system.
MediSoft Advanced Single User
MediSoft Basic is a simple version with some of our Advanced features. At
a lesser price, it will support sending your claims by paper or electronic.
It will be able to keep track or your patients, diagnosis codes, and
procedures. However, due to its simplicity, it will not keep track of the
accounting and scheduling features that the Advanced and Network
applications offer.
MediSoft comes standard with a scheduling engine [Office Hours] that
replaces inefficient paper-based schedules with an electronic view of your
office resources, making it quick and easy to schedule, move or cancel
appointments. The add on Office Hours Professional makes scheduling even
easier. The add on Office Hours Professional makes scheduling even easier.
MediSoft Advanced is designed to make your practice run more efficiently in
the storage and retrieval of patient data and referral tracking. It enables
you to quickly create multiple reports for practice management and aids in
developing a sound financial ground, while still maintaining the primary
focus of rendering quality healthcare services, by doing those chores that
the computer does best—the repetitious handling of patient information in
the various areas where the data is needed.
Reports
MediSoft Reports (formerly Focus Reports Standard) is a new module
included in MediSoft Advanced and MediSoft Network Professional, giving
MediSoft users over 228 standard reports. MediSoft Reports includes a wide
variety of reports that give unparalleled information on managed care plans,
in-depth financial information, marketing statistics, service facility
financial information, templates to export data for use in other software
and the ability to run custom reports.

Focus Reports Professional) offers 368
reports, charts and graphs. It also includes a report server that enables
reports to run at scheduled times and be delivered via e-mail, as well as
the ability to edit standard reports and create custom reports.
